Educational information

Public content is provided for general education. It is not individualized engineering, electrical, structural, medical, legal, financial, security or emergency-response advice. Conditions, laws, codes, equipment and personal requirements vary. Use qualified professionals for regulated or high-consequence work.

No client relationship through the website

Submitting an application, receiving a reference number or using this website does not create a consulting relationship, guarantee acceptance or reserve availability. A client relationship begins only when both parties accept a separate written engagement and required payment is completed. That written engagement controls if it conflicts with this public page.

Readiness accounts

A readiness account is an optional planning convenience, not a professional assessment, guarantee of readiness or emergency service. You are responsible for controlling access to your email and devices. Do not store access codes, exact supply locations, defensive positions, passwords, medical records or similarly sensitive operational details in the account.

Safety and emergencies

Appalachian Preparedness is not an emergency service. For an active emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service or public authority. Never create an unsafe condition to test a plan. Follow manufacturer instructions and applicable law, permits and codes.

Service availability

Remote work is available nationwide subject to qualification and capacity. On-site and buildout work is selective. Travel and related expenses are billed separately when applicable. Applications may be accepted, redirected, declined or waitlisted.

Independent recommendations

Potential affiliate, referral or vendor relationships relevant to a recommendation will be disclosed. Clients retain final decision authority. Licensed professionals remain responsible for professional design, permits, code compliance and regulated work.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website or services to facilitate illegal activity, target others, evade lawful authority or support extremist, militia or anti-government organizations. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, access submitted applications or send malicious code or automated spam.

Intellectual property and links

Appalachian Preparedness names, logos, original reports and site content may not be republished commercially or represented as another party’s work without written permission. External links are provided for convenience; their operators control their own content, availability and privacy practices.

Updates

These public terms may be updated as the platform and services expand. The effective date above identifies the current version.
